Samsung Note7 Malfunction
Following the product malfunction of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, our objective was to encourage Puerto Rican customers to exchange the device for a Samsung Galaxy S7. We established a multi-prong strategy in which we created exchange kiosks to be placed in Claro stores and at the airport. At the stores, we coordinated the presence of promoters to manage the exchanges. We also liaised with the airport and placed a kiosk at every entrance – ensuring passengers did not take it on the plane. The promoters initiated a Smart Switch and transferred the traveler’s device info into a Micro SD card for them to place into a complimentary device in the country of destination.
